ROSE - HERB OF THE YEAR 2012
Dr. Allen Owings, Professor Horticulture, will present information on ROSES and their uses. There will be a tasting of Harissa Cake with Rose Syrup (see recipe section of this website for more information)
**NOTE: We are MOVING to Burden Research Center in the Conference Center on Essen at I-10. As you come into the main drive, the Ione Burden Conference Center is where you have to turn left or run into the building.
Unless otherwise noted, all BR Herb Society Meetings Start at 7:00 pm
The Baton Rouge Unit of the Herb Society of America meetings are open to the public. There is a $3 fee for non-members and includes a free plant, or tasting and handouts.

New Shipment of Pomegranate Trees on Sale NOW!
Don't miss the opportunity to snap up one or more of these lovely, Louisiana propagated and grown trees. We only have a limited supply of 100 trees so place your order as soon as possible.
The trees range from 3 to 4 feet tall not including the pot. They can grow in full sun to part shade and can be propagated from seed.
The trees are $25 for HSA members and $35 for non-members. The trees will be available for pick up at before each of our meetings at the Baton Rouge Garden Center between 6 and 6:30 pm unless other arrangements are made in advance. To order your trees please fill out the form below.
